Adam Rodriguez for PA House 189
About Adam Rodriguez
I’m an FDR-style, New Deal Democrat that understands there must be a healthy balance between conservation and progress. I’m currently currently employed by The Betesh Group, as Graphic Artist. I’ve been working in the Apparel Industry since 1996 as both a Designer and an Artist. I have over 23 years experience making highly salable product for the retail sector with national and international distribution. I’ve worked with some of the world’s leading brands and licenses along the way.
Previous to that, I worked for the NY/NJ Port Authority in their Maintenance Division at both the Lincoln and Holland Tunnels, where I was a member of the Teamsters Union. I’ve also worked as an apprentice and Journeyman Carpenter in New York City in what used to be known as Local 608, of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, often working at heights doing various types of high-rise and Office Building construction.
I was Born in Englewood, NJ in 1963, graduated form Midland Park High School in 1982, and attended the Rhode Island School of Design for two years before leaving to pursue my professional interests. Both of my parents were talented professional artists and respected in their fields, a gift which they passed on to me, which I am thankful for everyday. I’m a creator and an artist with vision and the skills to make them into reality. I think it’s that vision, which is so lacking among many of our elected leaders, that we need to infuse BACK into our government…for, as FDR said “and when their is no vision, the people suffer.”
