You can only vote if you are registered and if your registration is up to date! If you have moved or changed your name since you last voted, update your registration here. If you are not sure, check your status.

 

Eligibility

    • You must be a U.S. Citizen and a PA resident by October 4, 2020
    • You must be 18 or older on November 3, 2020 (Election Day!)

Register to vote

ONLINE

    • Go to VotesPA.com/Register
    • Follow the instructions carefully and fill out the form
    • All online registration applications must be received by Tuesday, October 19, 2020. Registering as early as possible is encouraged, especially if you want to request a mail-in ballot.
    • Check your status after you register at VotesPA.com/Status.
    • If you have any questions or concerns, you can call the PADems Voter Assistance Hotline at 1-833-PA-VOTES (1-833-728-6837).

 

BY MAIL

    • Go to VotesPA.com/Register-to-Vote
    • Go to “How to Register to Vote” to find the application
        • Applications are available in English and en Español
    • Print the form and fill it out
        • You can check the box to request a mail-in ballot on this form if you want
    • Mail the form to your County Board of Elections
        • Find your county’s address from the list provided on the form
    • All mailed registration applications must be received (NOT just postmarked) by Tuesday, October 19, 2020. Mailing your application as early as possible to avoid mail delays due to COVID-19 is strongly encouraged.
    • Check your status after you register at VotesPA.com/Status
    • If you checked the box to vote by mail, you can check your mail-in ballot status at votespa.com/mailballotstatus
    • If you have any questions or concerns, you can call the PADems Voter Assistance Hotline at 1-833-PA-VOTES (1-833-728-6837).

 

IN PERSON

    • Go to your County Board of Elections Office
    • Go to another state government office
    • All in-person registration applications must be completed by Tuesday, October 19, 2020. Registering as early as possible to avoid mail delays is strongly encouraged.
    • Be sure to follow COVID-19 guidance when registering in person.
